Course Overview

A Diploma of Marketing and Communication is applicable for individuals who work as Marketing Coordinators, Media Assistants, Sales Administrators, Analysts, Promotions Retail Management, Legal Administration, Advertising and Marketing in a company or organization. This qualification will help them further develop their skills across a wide range of Marketing and Communication functions, while they may already have substantial experience with a wide range of roles in various settings. This diploma course is suitable for those who use well-developed marketing and communication skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of contexts. Pursuing a Diploma of Marketing and Communication will enable the development of existing competencies to create further educational and/or employment opportunities. It equips successful candidates with the skills and knowledge needed to perform effectively in a Marketing and Communication environment and successfully fulfill the duties of a manager or coordinator.

Entry Requirements
  • Completion of all core units in BSB42415 Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication; AND
  • Completion of Australian year 12 or equivalent; or
  • A mature age student with relevant work experience (20 years of age and above); or
  • Students need to demonstrate they have proficiency in English. If student cannot provide a documented proof on their academic and English language proficiency, they will be required to sit for a language, literacy and numeracy test (LLN) before a place can be offered.
